Cook County Circuit Court Court to resume June 23rd in Maywood courthouse

Circuit Court of Cook County Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans announced court will resume tomorrow, Thursday, June 23, 2011, in the Fourth Municipal District Courthouse in west suburban Maywood.

All court proceedings were canceled Wednesday, June 22, 2011, in the Maywood courthouse after a power outage in the facility caused by severe weather the preceding night.

All cases that had been scheduled for June 22, 2011, are rescheduled follows:

  • All civil cases are rescheduled to June 29, 2011, to be heard at the same time and in the same courtrooms as previously scheduled.
  • The traffic, misdemeanor and felony cases of all defendants who are in the custody of the Cook County Department of Corrections are rescheduled for June 24, 2011, to be heard at the same time and in the same courtrooms as previously scheduled.
  • The traffic, misdemeanor and felony cases of all individuals who are on bond are rescheduled for July 27, 2011, to be heard at the same time and in the same courtrooms as previously scheduled.
