Cook County and Partners Launch Community Garden Network with Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 15 in Blue Island

Join the new Cook County Bureau of Economic Development and our partners on Saturday, October 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as we launch our Community Garden Network at the Harvest Festival, being held at Tommie Brown Sports Association, 2805 West 141st Street in Blue Island. Admission is free.
Activities include:
- Gardening and fresh food workshops
- Information on green infrastructure
- Fresh food and agricultural products for sale by local gardeners
- Health and wellness information
- Free food samples and professional chef cooking demonstrations
- Live music and entertainment
