2011 Cook County Solid Waste Management Plan Update

As Directed by State Statute, the Cook County Solid Waste Plan is being updated and is now available in draft form for review and comment. The Plan Update will be the subject of a public hearing.
An interactive summary of the report recommendations is presented below.
A public hearing on the updated plan will take place on Wednesday, February 1st at 1 pm, in the Cook County Boardroom, 118 N. Clark. Click here if you want to register to testify in person.
The Public Comment period will end February 28, 2012.
