Function	The District owns, operates and maintains a local Sanitary Sewer System, containing 8,000+/- lineal feet, 8” sewer main, 39 manholes and one (1) lift station, to collect the sewage from the single family residential and the commercial service areas located within its corporate units, and deliver the sewage to the interceptors of the Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for transmission and treatment whereby the resulting sanitized water is released into natural water courses.
