Debi Stanton: 14th District Winner, 2012 Peggy A. Montes Unsung Heroine of Cook County Award

Debi Stanton is a volunteer extraordinaire whose devotion to others in need is unwavering despite her own challenges.

She commits her both time and energy to WINGS, which stands for Women in Need Growing Stronger, an agency that provides comprehensive and supportive services to women affected by domestic violence.  When the WINGS resale store was tragically destroyed by fire in 2010, Debi devoted countless hours to rebuild it.

Debi’s volunteer spirit extends to other philanthropic endeavors including Arlington Heights Junior Women’s Club and Arlington Heights Wish Tree committee.
