Sandra Miller lives by the motto: “All I have in life is how I act or react to any given situation that comes into my life.”
As a breast cancer survivor, Sandra knows the importance of research to find a cure. She volunteers and participates in activities such as the Avon 3 day Breast Cancer Walk of Chicago, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Orland Park, The Beverly Breast Cancer Walk and The March of Dimes. As a mother of a fallen soldier, Captain Adam Miller, United States Marine Corp, (Iraq War), Sandra guaranteed that her son’s memory live on by petitioning door-to-door for a pavilion in the Midlothian Park District to be dedicated in her son’s honor. She volunteers for her local food pantry drive and works tirelessly creating care packages and holiday letters and cards for service members both locally and overseas.
Sandra Miller is a mother of three children and a grandmother of two.
